How to start Engel Care
You need two devices: the caregiver's phone, and a tablet or phone that stays with the aging adult.
Create your family login
On the caregiver phone choose I am the caregiver. Make a username and password for this family, plus a PIN for this phone. Add the first person's name. Another family who downloads the same app cannot see your people.
Aging-adult seat
On their tablet choose I am the aging adult. A caregiver can help tap the name. Home, check-in, notes, and messages stay large.
Link the household
On the caregiver phone tap Link household. Tell the household code in person. On the other phone tap Join and type that code.
Home Wi-Fi or cell data
At home, phones can use the household hub on your Dell / server. Away from home, cell data still syncs a sealed copy through this website.
Use it each day
Talk with Engel remembers both of you. Appointments show on both Homes. Check-in is still three Yes / No questions. If you are worried, use I called / I visited, or send an alert to their tablet. That is not 911.
What you will see
Caregiver: a board of people, today's color, ask hour, notes, reminders, messages.
Aging adult: Hello, a fridge note, reminders, Start my check-in, and Message your caregiver.
Talk uses Grok. The words go over HTTPS. Mic recognition stays on the phone. If Grok or the mic fails, Yes / No and typing still work. Talk is not a doctor.
