HONEST LIMITS

What this app does — and does not.

A red day means nobody finished the check-in. It does not mean an emergency. A person still has to decide what to do.

A cream tablet with large blank buttons on a kitchen table.

It does

  • Ask three daily questions; Talk uses Grok when the network works
  • Let someone answer with giant Yes / No, or by typing
  • Retry twice if nobody answers
  • Mark the day green, amber, or red
  • Keep notes on the phones and the household hub
  • Shared talk with Grok that remembers caregiver and adult
  • Household appointments both seats can add or cancel
  • Human follow-up: I called / I visited
  • Tablet alerts from the caregiver (not 911)
  • Family login so other downloads cannot see your people
  • Sync on home Wi-Fi or cell data with a sealed packet

It does not

  • Detect falls
  • Call 911
  • Watch a camera
  • Manage medications as a clinic
  • Give medical advice
  • Sell anything
  • Invent a heart-rate band

The household code is told in person. This website does not store notes or PINs. Talk words go to Grok over HTTPS so Engel can answer. Notes stay sealed. Mic recognition stays on the phone. Medication answers are words a family can read. They are not a medical record. Engel Care is not HIPAA-certified.
